I visited the Harn Museum during an African Museum night. I witnessed a beautiful and traditional dance by several African nations. The African arts included masks, clothing, and crafts. This night inspired me to tap into the global African diaspora. 

Las Noche de Museo exposed me to the colorful and vibrant aspects of Mexican culture from the films, arts, and music. Due to experiences like this, I can get a better understanding of other's cultures. This increases cultural understanding and perspective. 

Coffee talks: Birthdays around the world was one of my favorite talks. Through this exchange, I gained insights into how different cultures celebrate birthdays. Birthdays are such a special day for a lot of people. Knowing how I can celebrate their day in their culture speaks to the heart.
